Silver Biotics - Buyer beware-no customer service

On 11/22/10 I was talked into purchasing Silver Biotics by a pushy sales person. After reviewing the information about it online I felt uncomfortable taking such a product. On 11/24/10 I returned the unopened product to GNC wanting only an exchange. Since I could not find the receipt they would do nothing.

I could prove it was purchased with my debit card since I have access to those records. They should be able to pull up a recent receipt since the "world" is computerized (except for GNC of course) and I had used my Gold Card.

I called customer service and they too would do nothing to help.

Online the return policy states that if it is a GNC brand they will exchange without a receipt under very strict conditions but if it is a third party brand nothing can be done without a receipt. So now I am out $25 and my only recourse is to throw the product in the garbage and never shop at GNC again.

They state that satisfaction is guaranteed but it is not.

This isn't a review on the value of Silver Biotics but rather the customer service issues of GNC.

To my horror, I somehow contracted a severe bacterial infection called C Difficile Collitis.After a few hospital and Dr.s visits and numerous tests, they put me on antibiotics and were ready to start more rounds of antibiotics when I was told to get SilverBiotics over-nighted to me immediately.

I immediately started taking this amazing "miracle" product that evening I got it; after 4-5 hours, my diarrhea had completely subsided after several weeks of this life-threatening bacterial infection. I have been on it now 2 weeks and never felt better in my entire life. Since, I have closely studied the technology on this, my conclusion is "every person should be taking this product for prevention of illness or disease.

It is nothing less than a Miracle.

I've been using this product for 2 yrs.& nobody in my family has gotten sick.

Saved a fortune in doctor bills and prescriptions. It's great!! How is it the store's fault that you made an impulsive decision, tossed the receipt and then changed your mind? As you said, today the "world is computerized" so why didn't you research it on your phone before buying it?

Why would you throw out a receipt for a $25 item?

I save all my receipts for at least a couple months just to be safe.Stop blaming others.

Be glad that you cannot go into a store and return something like that .Its like underwear.

Would you want to buy THAT at a store that took those kind of returns? I sure wouldnt! Somethings you just have to suck up. Think about it before you buy it.

If it does not work out ..give it to someone who might use it.

Dont expect to be able to return supplements, medicines and underwear..you bought it...you keep it or give it away if you changed your mind.:p

Sorry to hear about the GNC experience, I think you should do your research first, then make the purchase of course.As far as the product goes, I've used it for 3 years, great results, completely satisfied and think it's a real bargain for the broad spectrum use against infections, etc.

I like the fact they have done safety studies and have provided details about them @ www.americanbiotechlabs.com.

I must not be the only one who is satisfied because according to the reported sales, they have been growing steady for 10 years and they really do not advertise.Better Luck Next Time friend!
